In order to gain entrance to PDT (Please Don't Tell) you'll need to go downstairs from St. Mark's Place into a hot-dog joint called Criff Dogs. If you close yourself into the suspiciously out-of-place phone booth on your left and pick up the receiver, you'll be greeted by the bartender hidden on the other side of a trick door in the booth. Once inside, the coquettish surprises continue with the inventive cocktails made by the masters behind the bar. As a playful bonus the tasty Criff Dogs are available, too, passed through a small opening in the wall behind the bar. Reservations are usually needed, unless you show up on the early side or on an off night.
